jónsi: Concert Timelapse at The Wiltern Theatre from Henry Jun Wah Lee on Vimeo.

This show has made such a lasting impression on me, the visuals were completely stunning.

I see you're colourful
I see you in the trees
I see you're spiritful
You're in the breeze

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Marc Brown, Illustrator and Author of the beloved Arthur series. Marc was so full of life and encouraging to all the illustrators. It was amazing to meet someone so passionate about children's illustration, but also an advocate for children's literacy. CIA Link mentioned our encounter and his influence on my work. Thank you PBS and thank you Marc Brown .

A name behind the tea

This is my favorite tea of all time, and for some reason I can only buy it while I am abroad. Besides its fantastic taste and amazing flavors the illustrations are amazing. Found the illustrator ! His name is Brett Ryder and you can find his work here: http://www.belowtheclouds.com/2008/09/10/brett-ryder-for-dr-stuarts/

old find new find

While going through some old boxes in my room I came across this great book I had when I was a kid. It is called "The Ultimate Noah's Ark" written and illustrated by Mike Wilks. It takes the 'where's waldo' concept to a whole new level. The book was published in 1994. Its challenge is to search the picture and find which animal is missing his mate. The book consists of 707 animals, but one came alone. You mailed in your entry and had the chance to win $10,000. I had loved this book and recently looked up the winner on google.
My new giraffe mug was a recent purchase at World Market.
